Where we ride

BLM desert trails

Miles of wide open Bureau of Land Management desert surround Socorro. Washes, ridgelines, mesas and views of the Magdalena and San Mateo mountains. Your guide picks the trails based on your riding experience.

Hidden landmarks

The Socorro Valley is full of places most locals don't know about: a lone mine in the middle of nowhere with a door frame still standing on the mountainside, historic landmarks, and arroyos and trails you can't reach by car or truck. We take you to them and tell you the stories behind them.

Lunch in San Antonio

San Antonio, New Mexico is a tiny town with a big reputation for green chile cheeseburgers. Full day tours stop for lunch at the Buckhorn Tavern or the Owl Bar & Cafe.

Bosque del Apache

The Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge is just south of San Antonio along the Rio Grande. In the winter it fills with sandhill cranes, snow geese and other birds, and it's one of the best wildlife viewing spots in the Southwest.
